Our Homeschool Village
Safety and community information
A safer way to connect
Safety & community disclaimer
This community is designed to help homeschool families find one another and make informed choices. We provide connection and safety tools, but no website can promise that every person, statement, or activity will be safe, accurate, or right for every family.
What the Village provides
Our Homeschool Village provides tools that help adult family members create profiles, discover one another, communicate, share community content, and organize activities. The website is not a childcare provider, school, transportation provider, medical service, emergency service, or the organizer of a member-created activity unless we clearly say otherwise.
Member-provided information
Profiles, posts, messages, recommendations, group discussions, and event details are provided by members. Administrative approval may allow content or an event listing to appear, but it does not promise that the information is complete, current, accurate, or a good fit for every family. A listing, profile, or match is not an endorsement.
Events, outings, and in-person meetings
Participation is always voluntary. Before attending, confirm the time, location, cost, accessibility, activity expectations, transportation, weather plans, and who will be present. Each family decides whether an activity is appropriate and remains responsible for its children, supervision, belongings, health needs, and transportation. Event organizers remain responsible for the activities they choose to offer.
Privacy and children
Adults manage family accounts. Share only the information you are comfortable sharing with other approved members. Do not post private addresses, sensitive records, or recognizable photos of people outside your household without permission. A connection made through the website is not a reason to leave a child unsupervised.
Use the safety tools
You can decline contact requests, block members, and report concerning profiles, messages, posts, or behavior. These tools help administrators respond, but they cannot prevent every problem or replace your own judgment. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services instead of waiting for a website response.
A note about organizer forms and waivers
An activity organizer may ask families to review additional rules, permission forms, or waivers. This page does not replace those documents and does not change any rights or responsibilities provided by applicable law.
